Peter Jacobsson - Discofoot - Moving Norms

Né à Stockholm, Petter Jacobsson a fait ses études au Royal Swedish Ballet. En tant que premier danseur au Sadler's Wells Royal Ballet de Londres entre 1984 et 1993, il a fait le tour du monde en dansant tous de célèbres rôles classiques et en jouant auprès de nombreuses compagnies internationales. En 1993, il s'installe à New York pour
commencer une carrière de freelance.

Au milieu des années 90, Petter Jacobson commence à travailler avec le chorégraphe et danseur Thomas Caley. Quelques années plus tard, Petter et Thomas ont fondé une compagnie de danse indépendante en 2005. Depuis 2011, Petter dirige et est chorégraphe avec Thomas du CCN Ballet de Lorraine à Nancy.

Born in Stockholm, Petter Jacobsson was further educated at the Royal Swedish Ballet
School. As a principal dancer with the Sadler’s Wells Royal Ballet in London between 1984 to 1993, he toured the globe dancing all of the renowned classical roles as well as appearing as guest artist with numerous international companies. In 1993, he moved to New York to begin a freelance career.

In the mid nineties, Petter Jacobsson starts working with the danser and choreographer Thomas Caley. After years of collaboration, Petter and Thomas established an independent dance company in 2005. As of 2011, Petter is leading and choreographing together with Thomas for the CCN Ballet de Lorraine in Nancy.
